Hello Folks! I'm back with another new video!
During Train Festival 2011, Nickel Plate Road 2-8-4 #765 ran an all-day excursion from Rock Island to Bureau Junction, IL and return. The weather for the chase started out cloudy, but got better as the day progressed.
In Part One, we'll follow the train through Moline, Silvis, Geneseo and outside of Mineral to Bureau Junction.
Some footage for this two-part program has been provided by my good friend Scott (DASCO2136).
Hope you folks enjoy and Keep On Steaming!

@PereMarquette1223 That I do not know. I do know for a fact that the one 765 is using currently is the one used behind Class A #1218.

@Kleman09 Since this is #1218's water tender, where is #611's?
PereMarquette1223 4 weeks ago
@modeltrainman12345 nope. 765's water tender is undergoing repairs and one was needed to replace it temporarily. On loan from the Virginia Museum of Transportation.

@modeltrainman12345 It is. The N&W car is owned by the Virginia Museum of Transportation (VMT) and not NS.
