The fact that I read the books made me disgruntled with the American version, especially with how they developed her character a bit more than the story allowed. Lisbeth Salander has a certain amount of mystery to her all the way through part of the second book that kind of gets destroyed. Not to mention how they revealed Harriet was atrocious. The movie was shot very well, I don't disagree on that point at all. I just prefer the story being tied so much closer to the book in the original film.

I agree, but you gotta give them cred. they did a pretty damn good job revamping this song! I mean it is Karen O and she's pretty beast!

I'm pretty sure beating or topping the original wasn't the intention here. Why do people have to keep comparing the two versions? Both of them are good, this is an interesting twist to the old classic.
