@NsnYourBiggestFan, Ya no problem. It all has to do with the material you are using. Are you using a Ampersand Scratchboard or a Paper Scratchboard? In addition, what type of tools are you using to carve? If you can get me this information I can help you a bit more.

@AndrewJohnMullen I think paper. But im not positive. And i have no idea what kind of tools yet. We just started the project and iv never done anything like it before so..;P

@kwalden801 I used one tool for this particular scratchboard. It is a curved edge carving tool made by Ampersand. It looks like a number five Linoleum block cut tool.
