Trailering a fractious horse so that it is not a traumatic experience for your equine friend requires a good deal of patience, not only your own, but your cameraman's as well if you happen to be filming. Please enjoy the following time-lapse video of Beth DeCaprio, founder of The Grace Foundation, as she demonstrates the humane, natural horsemanship method of properly trailering a fractious horse.
I have found the best way to get my horse and ass in there trailer is to feed them there meal in the trailer. Sugar is better than vinegar. If I cant feed them there meal in the trailer because its the wrong time of day that is about what I go through trailering my horse. If the horse goes in first the ass follows close behind. If I tried the trailer the ass first I would never get them in.
