WE OPEN PARIS FASHION WEEK

On 28 September we unveiled the new design of our 81st store in France, located at 54 Boulevard Haussmann in Paris. Famous for being the prime location for Parisian fashion, this avenue crosses the 8th and 9th districts and is 2.5 km long. With this new flagship store, Paris will have one of our largest boutiques, alongside the flagship stores of London and New York. The premises will have a selling space of 1,335 m² distributed over a 630 m² ground floor and a 705 m² first floor.

Alongside Valentino, Chairman of the Jury of the 1st edition of the MANGO Fashion Awards, Isak Andic, the Chairman of MANGO, Mónica Cruz, Inés Sastre and Sandrina Fasoli, winner of the 1st edition of the MANGO Fashion Awards and who has now designed a collection for us, numerous celebrities visited our new flagship store. The music for the evening was provided by the DJs Dumb & Dumber: Yan CEH and Frédéric Beigbeder.

The celebrities attending the event included Goya Toledo, Nati Abascal, Luis Medina, Julie Depardieu, the singer Rose, the comedians Franck Dubosc, Stéphane Rousseau and Max Boublil, Elisa Tovati, the actors Aurélien Wiik, Stéphane Freiss, Clément Sibony and Stanislas Merhar, Linda Hardy, Cathy Guetta, the DJ duo Cédric Couvez and Clémence, the journalists Agathe Godard, Frigide Barjot and Basile de Koch, Stéphane Bern, the model Astrid Muñoz, Mélissa Mars and the New York DJ Leigh Leizark.

At 20.30, the guests visited the Opéra Garnier to attend a sumptuous dinner created especially for the occasion by Jean-Pierre Vigato, (Apicius) with a performance by the harp soloist of the Opéra Garnier, Emmanuel Ceysson.

While they enjoyed, among other dishes, a varied assortment of wild mushrooms, asparagus and carrots, the guests were able to admire the reflection of the ceiling of the Grand Foyer over a mirror-table scattered with electric blue Mango roses.

Before the arrival of the grand caramel dessert created by Apicius, Benjamin Siksou, guitar in hand, offered 20 minutes of the jazz-styled versions he is famed for.

This glamorous dinner at the Opéra Garnier set the tone for Fashion Week and officially opened the event.
