The problem is a badly seated ribbon cable between T-con board and display driver board. You can take TV apart and make a better connection on the ribbon cable should fix your problem. Mine did same thing

I had the same problem... we got our DLP 6 years ago. We've replaced the lamp twice, and just got the color wheel replaced 9 or so months ago, and then this.
We gave up and bought a plasma.

IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. does anyone know what the problem here is?! samsung is sending over someone for $135 but i want to know if i can fix the problem myself. so annoying!! PLEASE HELP!

ahh the digital board issue again. we have a fix for this on hometheatershack /forums/samsung/20791-hlr6167wax-xaa-digital-board-problems. this fix also works for models hlr4667wax-xaa , hlr5067wax-xaa , hlr5667wax-xaa , hlr6167wax-xaa . you will have to do a google search to find the forum youtube wont let you post web url's in comments because they are afraid of spam.
