Also not being visited is a possibility which must exist, but let's say that two explorers from another universe visit us I imagine them saying:

    a. F*ck not again, we always get these uncivilized bull shit planets.

    b. I guess we must study these savages see if anything interesting comes up!.

    a. I didn't become a wormhole jumper for this shit! They are like apes with guns! Let's report no intelligent life forms present and let them check 10K years from now if they haven't gone extinct by then!

Seriously is string theory scientific? Have we lost the fundamentals of what scientific method is based on?

or possibly they will marvel at our tendency to self flagellate instead of actually doing something to contribute to the solution to our problems....

science is probably the most beautiful thought process humanity has developed. What non-scientists do not understand, is just how powerful science can be. Every piece of modern technology is a product of science my friend. With new scientific breakthroughs come better technologies, economies, jobs, etc. This all leads to a better world for our future generations. Also, scientists know how to think critically. This is a skill we all must cherish.

This is an invitation to see an alternative to String Theory!

Where the different dimensions are just future possibilities in our one 3D Universe

    Based on the postulates:

1 The Ψ probability function represents the forward passage of time with the future coming into existence photon by photon.

2 Is that HUP ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w-function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event within our own ref-frame that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!

thats a good answer, but for serious reply to the question would be : if there are aliens flying around universe they wont visit us, simply because they are more advanced than us hence why they are flying around the universe. now would you spend a hour talking to an ant or carry on about you're business? yes i would just carry on with my business. i mean seriously we only know like 3 detentions, they probably know like 1,000,000,000's of detentions..

So, if I understand this, if the numbers add up, it's within the realm of possibility. For example, if my Boss pay's me $100,000 an hour, I could retire in a month. Cool!

It is called Theoretical science, more specifically theoretical physics. Theoretical physics relies on known knowledge and observation and bases the theories on speculation, mathematics, and observation. That is why it is called 'theoretical'.

Yeah, gravity is really one of those things that has been admitteded to be more subjective in science. But you don't *have* to agree or believe in any of it. None of it can be proven. Then again, so can't anything else in the universe, so it really comes down to disregarding that and seeing what happens just for the sake of it. This is why it doesn't make sense to shove beliefs down other people's throats, so I agree with you on that; of course it's done everywhere and in everything anyway.
