@Misokrayz Hi i am trying to start a colony as well.. do you just use a reptile mat and put it under the plastic binr? and is it safe if i have it over carpet? And any suggestions on the type of heat pad?

great video lots of info. but you want to increase your surface space offered to them. and used crushed cat food for higher protine. Use a heat pad not your cable box. I started with 250 roaches and 6 months later had 2500. this is a great beginner video for people just getting into it and starting with a small colony. i started bigger because i have lots of reptiles.

@x68416 I started out with 75. But to get a thriving colony I recommend 100. I have so many roaches right now its rediculous!
