A contestant wins $40,000 on The Price is Right salutes the U.S. Army in 2002 to become the biggest Plinko winner ever, daytime and primetime, a record that was held until May 7, 2008 when someone won $41,000 on it.

This would never happen in today's plinko they make the contestants drop the chips from about a foot above the top pegs. This guy places the chip on the second peg and Bob goes "push it off there", letting the contestant pretty much control where it goes. If the show was still like this i would win 50,000 every time easily.

I just LOVE watching people win big. I saw another clip of a man on T.P.I R. playing regular "Plinko" & he won $10,000 with just one chip. {He won more $ w/ the other chips} but that just that one chip brought him to tears ! I can't get enough of seeing people that happy! It's just fan-damn-tastic !! { they can red line me all they want, That's exactly what it is ! }
