I have a question. When the surgeon pins the ear back i've seen some cases that the top part sticks out or looks elf like. Does that mean that was a mistake from the surgeon. Because i've seen other cases and th ears look naturall after the surgery. Hope you understand what im trying to say. Please reply as quick as you can. Thank you.

@ecalb1 that is known as a telephone deformity in which the center is pulled too far in and the top is not pulled in enough. however, i don't know if that is the case but that is what you are describing.

hello doc ! i have a question ! is it true that post operation u need around 3 to 4 months to see the final results and for the ear to take their final shape and settle in ? thank you

@hanizaytoun sometimes you see the result pretty much dead on. sometimes the ears can relax about 10 to 20% over a few months.
