Theres videos on youtube that show the tornado that hit Manchester SD.. Well heres one video that I made and personally went to that town this yr to show you all what its like today. Both Forrest and I went to Manchester to basically see nothing left of the town besides a small farm spot that was pretty much rebuilt and still used.

My cousin and I (who grew up 1 mile east of Manchester) rode in the Manchester centennial parade inside of a Model T in the early 80's..wish I could remember the exact year. I climbed the inside ladder of the Manchester grain elevator around the same time. Even in the early 80's the town was bascially empty, except for a few families It saddenes me to visit the memorial, but I am very grateful that my family and all of their relatives survived the tornado.
