http://theparadiddler.com Part 4 of 4 in my series on adjusting the Vex Pro Touring double bass pedals. You could get away with watching parts 3 and 4, and you'd be fine.

  • is it me or does the pedal look tiny compared to his feet?

  • @timmytimdrummerkid Wow, I didn't notice that before! The pedals are normal size, though. :)

  • does anyone know if these pedals are fast or heavy-ish?

  • @butjugler I would say they are fast, but really, it's more about developing your technique than it is the pedal. But for the price, I think these pedals are pretty good.

  • could you help me, i just got my vex pro touring double pedal about 5 days ago and ive watched your videos and i notice your right beater is in front of your left beater well mine is vice versa, and the right beater seems to be stronger and actually pushes out ahead about an extra inch, ive tried to tighten the one part that you said to with the allen wrench at the beginning of the 3rd video but didnt really help so any other ideas? any advice would be appreciated

  • @XXb4thenightXX Hello! Go back to Part 3, at the 6:45 mark and after (about foot board height) and in part 4 of 4 after the 5:45 mark, when I talk about the second allen wrench and beater adjustment. Remember, when the pedal is installed, the beaters will go as far as the batter head, and not beyond. Let me know if this helps. Good luck!

  • @devwhit Lol I have a lot to do,But ummm...Im thinking of buying the GPs.....This old guy is selling them to me for only 70...Theyre almost new,They look THE SAME...Except for the brand..........But yeah I watched all 4 to see how good they are

  • @6sic666666 Very adjustable. :)

If you have nothing to do, watch the whole four-part series on configuring these pedals. Well, actually, you can get away with watching parts three and four and you'd be good to go (if you haven't watched them already, I mean). They'll give you a pretty good idea on how to adjust.

    Good luck!

  • @devwhit True sir,True,Ive heard that it doesnt have any adjustment,Clearly,I can see the VEX pros are adjustable,Or are my eyes deceiving me? Are the vex pros adjustable?

  • @6sic666666 the pdp cant be adjusted like this one it would be a good pedal if it could be adjusted
