  • Great video

How start the fire to hollo the cup out?

  • You can either build an external fire and transport coals, or you can start a small fire on top of the cup and constantly feed it.

  • try scrapping the coals off the sides once you get it the width that you want. this way you dont burn through the sides. it works for me. if you use green wood go slow or it could crack. good luck!

  • Yep, this was aged wood, so cracking wasn't really an issue. i'll try that next time. Thanks for the tip.

  • @yalgret2 No it can't. The charcoal is broken apart very easily, so the knife can't be damaged :)

  • Try an aluminum arrow with the tip and notch cut off. It works great!

  • Hey, you can cake certain areas with mud in order to prevent burning. Once you have a good depression in the cup, spread mud all over the rim of the cup so that way it will burn down into the cup but wont burn through the sides.

  • nice video
