Every year seems to hold a little more weight
Then the one before
And my bones are a little more worn
Embracing the change
It's a good time to spend with your family and your friends
you know we love you all

Better put your coat on cause it's a little cold out
We can't get back to warmer days without moving on
keep on moving ahead
You can't expect miracles to be common things
although they do exist
Sittin by the fireside meditating about life
it's been one helluva ride
I can't find the words to describe my state of mind
so I don't try,I don't try
Another notebook full,another pen out of ink
If you throw it away you'll never see it agian
I had a dream it was so wild and weird
but I don't remember it,I can't remember it!!

I'd like to dedicate this one to my sister who gave birth to the newest member of our family today,Skylar!
