Fuente The Puppy

Little Fuente was a female puppy the I.R.O. members found on June 12, 2011 at the Fuente Circle during the Cebu Road Revolution walk.

She was abandoned weeks ago, was very weak, and was in need of a bath. She also had problems on her skin and was very hungry. Thankfully, one of the members brought food along and was able to feed the little one.

Later on, it was found out that the guy who was assigned to the place, Mr. Romelio, was also quite fond of the puppy, as he himself had already rescued 9 abandoned dogs. He agreed to take Fuente home with him and be its foster parent, with an IRO member as a Ninang to take the puppy to the vet.

Indeed, it was a successful walk for a cause where a very sweet pitbull named Derrick was able to educate and show to the people around how docile and gentle their breed could be, a puppy was rescued and found a home, and word was spread around for the upcoming ASPIN DAY on June 18th.
