A lot of people reckon ; give em enough rope; is a ropey album....well not on my watch. I think its a bloody brilliant album...having said that I think all the clash albums are brilliant.....ok maybe ;cut the crap; was a bridge too far...........god I miss Joe Strummer............Glenn

Yes! I agree. When it came out in Autumn '78 they were syaing in the NME it was overproduced and heavy metal and selling out. But I loved it as much as the first one

Im an hypocrit as i like some Clash songs but hate Strmmers politics. Still R.I.P Joe Strummer.

you can like the music if not the lyrics. They may so intrisically connected, but they're not one thing. They're like conjoined twins. You can cut them apart, but they're broken afterwards
