@Dungarth - I dare say I know a lot more about Lee than most. Its true that cross training is beneficial. However, todays typical MMA artists are watered down & imperfected. Students pop out without solid foundations & fall apart quickly in sport, let alone real combat. Lee excelled & triumphed because his foundations were very strong, & every tech he learned, was perfected to its full potentials. Its 1reason why he was able to defeat ppl who had decades more experience + more depth of techs.

@xiaou2 ..Thats great but Bruce's talents were not limited to just Wing-Chun, Bruce also trained in Boxing, Judo and Hapkido too, so its not just ONE style that makes agreat martial artist its encompassing all styles in order to be the best you can be..This was Bruce's philosophy.

The refinement, the beauty and the power of the martial arts of China continental were obtained through men generations and generations that were dedicated arduously to the body knowledge, of the mind and of the spirit. The tradition is essential in the perpetuation and perfection of the martial arts of China continental.
Bruce Lee did not conclude his studies of WING CHUN, did not study and did not practice step-by-step all the levels that a Chinese martial art demands.
HAHA the guy in the suit got owned!

I can tell you that before I took Wing Chun, I was a pushover... fairly weak, feeble, and even a little clumsy. After several years of intense training, Ive been called "Graceful as a Swan", which was a shock until I realized how far Id progressed. Its all in the dedication and proper training methods.Lee just happened to b a LOT more dedicated than most ever were, or will be.
