They had played in Basel in 1980, Lendl became one of the four player to beat Borg in 5 sets: 6/3 6/2 5/7 0/6 5/4, just before Federer was born nearby.

the only thing you can compare between nadal and borg is the number of GS's...and for now its Borg with 6 french opens....People who watch a lot of tennis and know about it knows that you cant compare generations.

"Annoying" you said..perhaps but not close minded like you that focuses on the level of difficulty those players had before to the potential power and aim that Nadal and many other players are capable of..today. Yeah, keep giving them credit. I don't mean to be rude but the truth is "nobody cares" and perhaps the archeologist will probably do.

Looks like you're the stupid one my friend ( and rude!) I guess if you've never stepped into the ring you wouldn't know that "muscle Power" is limited. After many years in competetive combat sports and championship NCAA tennis I will tell you that you calling these great players "fools" shows you to know very little about athletics. nadal couldn't play with the racquets these guys play with, he doesn't have the power. Players back then would do things that no pros would do today, they had a personal power that these spoiled new celeb-atheletes don't have, you are still my friend, yet your uneducated opinions get on my nerves sometimes...
