Several yearly reviews . One report just on weather or not you have died so they can stop paying you.

One medical is filed weather or not you show up. Just say no show.

Hate to break it to you but her superior officers have to keep records. No way around it.

@torrid426 Bush received an Honorabble Discharge. That is record enough to PROVE he fulfilled his obligation. My wife did ten years in the Air National Guard and there are no records of her every showing up but she was there every month and the two week tours each year for ten years. There simply are no records except for her paycheck. So I am finished with you on this topic since you do not really know much about us military. Most military voted for Bush. We know his history and like it.

Bushes statement of understanding 27 may 68 his 6 year. section E reads

"if I am separated from Air National Guard of the USA for any reason prior to the completion of my enlistment, I will transfer to the Air Force Reserve to complete the remaining portion of my military service obligation"

Aside from pay checks there are no records Bush between May 1972 and May 1973

I served under Bush. He was a great CINC.

@torrid426 He did his time and did not "skip out on military duty". Bush flew over 400 hours in fighter jets and received an Honorable Discharge. Again, The Guard is NOT run like the active force. It is not a full time job and long lengths of not showing up is common and allowed. I know what I am talking about. I did 24 years actuve and 6 years reserves. Wife did 10 years in the ANG. Bush was NOT AWOL. Simple.

Whatever term they use for dereliction of duty . AWOL is the laymen vernacular for skipping out on military duty.
