In "DEATH BATTLE! Dr wily vs Dr eggman Mecha sonic lasted for about half a minute. (PWNED By pharoh man) And mecha sonic is better and mecha sonic is very slow.

for those of you who dont know the series and are complaining about the ending of this battle, you should know that after the fight yoshi is fine! he fully recovers and ends up kicking ass later on in the series. it just happened that he was no match for mecha sonic. calm down! i would also encourage watching the mario and sonic vs mecha sonic fight in smbz episode 7 for those who dont want to see mecha sonic "win". as for some REAL mecha sonic pwnage, go to mecha sonic vs axem rangers X

Alvin hasn't made any public announcement on discontinuing SMBZ that I've heard of. But it has been a while since he's released a preview even. So he might have stopped and just hasn't told us since the backlash would be enormous. If you want to keep updated on what Alvin might reveal, his DeviantArt is Alvin-Earthworm.

I actually looked it up a while ago myself! He actually posted something recently about how he will be working on SMBZ in spare time. So that's good news! :D
