Andrew was a nightmare. We felt it even down here in Key West. You couldn't even see our house. It was buried in trees. One heavy branch went right through the roof of my room while I was in bed, broke the light overhead and I got showered in glass.
I recently went to this zoo and it is more beautiful than I remember it 20 years ago as a kid. Everyone visiting the Miami area should go.

thanx for sharing....i worked for a year down there rebuilding right after it hit and what a mess it was, glad to hear the zoo made a comeback,......cheers
