nice version! was just about to wonder why never anyone made a really rockbeat/eguitar or funky jazzy saxophone version of it and there is is. still, why starting with it only at 2.25? like waltopher implies such may corrupt the message of the song a bit maybe but it also has such potential to become a huge crowd pleaser. this song has so much energy and beat
Someone please tell me...was that Rockabilly GOD Robert Gordon at the desk with the daisy in the opening and closing scene??? I would love to hear HIM sing this song with his baritone voice!
Just have to say I enjoyed this version... but I can't get away from the Tennessee Ernie version, still think it is the best. This song is one of misery... I think the less accented with instrumentals this song is the better... all about the voice of misery and TEF got it best... just my two cents
