Ginuwine once stated that he only likes " light skinned women with long hair." as you can see his wife is very light skinned with very long hair....lol.

@KaiAustinn and the same thing happens the other way around 2-you see a person you don't think of as beautiful & when you get to know them they are amazing and you look at them with new eyes. now what you see is pure beauty. i guess that is why they say love is blind. its too bad kids don't realize it sooner. it would save a lot of kids from feeling terrible about themselves and wasting time with people who 'everyone wants', but really, they are ugly inside & out, they just had to REALLY look.

@KaiAustinn anymore. the same goes the other way around too. sometimes i will see someone who i don't think is very attractive (sucks that we all judge ppl even if we don't want to) and then i get to know what a great person they are and when i look at them now, with new eyes, there is nothing but absolute beauty and perfection radiating from them. too bad kids don't realize this sooner....it would save them all a lot of heartache, self hate, and wasted time with guys/girls who are REALLY ugly

@KaiAustinn right now she feels beautiful and i tell her she is every day...it hurts to think that by the time she is 10 or 12, she may not feel the same-no matter what she REALLY looks like and even if i do keep telling her how beautiful she is. one thing my grandma always told me though, is that beauty is only skin deep, ugly is to the bone. how often i see as an adult- stereo-typically "beautiful" woman or man....get to know that they are not a good person, and somehow i don't SEE beauty

@KaiAustinn unfortunately hollywood leaves 98% of all women off the tv screen...not just black women, and for that matter, men 2. avg guys don't have a 6-pack, killer-body. but girls are the one's who feel pressure to look like those women on tv, and if they don't, they feel like they are not beautiful. it is really sad. i have a 6 yr old girl.

@MrBaz1988 You mean the kind of black women in this video or black women in general because very few black women look like the ones in this video. Don't get me wrong, they're all beautiful, they just have a look that most black women don't identify with. We aren't all light-skinned with loose curly hair. There are other shades. But you gotta love hollywood and its version of what being a beautiful black woman looks like, right? Leaving the images of 98% of most black women off of the TV screen.
