LOS ANGELES ZOO ARCTIC TAIL CHILL OUT WEEKEND WUSA 9 WASHINGTON DC

The Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens will transformed the Zoo’s black bear habitat into a snowy winterscape on Saturday, July 21, 2007 for the seldom-seen experience of bears playing in the snow. The event kicked-off the Arctic Tale “Chill-Out Weekend” at the L.A. Zoo that featured the advance screening of the Arctic Tale film, along with a weekend of wildlife education, activities and booths that highlight climate change and its impact on wildlife around the world.
