Snorkeling in the Springs

My buddy Jason (green) and I (blue) found a nice spot in Alexander Springs, Florida to snorkel around in. It gets deeper everywhere else around this area, but the way the sun hit this area we decided to swim around a bit in here.

This is my old camera. An Olympus Stylus Verve with it's underwater housing. A much better camera for underwater quality would be a Canon SD1000.

Near the boil in Alexander springs, there isn't enough oxygen for fish of a size alligators would want. So they don't spend as much time there. Plus there's a lot of activity at the spring's boil and they'll keep away from that unless it's mating season. It's pretty safe. Nice spring, nice vid.

how much was that water camera??

The camera itself at the time was 200 and the case was another 100 on top of that. My new camera cost 300 and it's case 150.

@GrapeJelly411 Its simply an amazing place. Average Depth: 1.3 metres, the water is considerable healthy andyes there are some fishes but they arent dangerous.
