Years ago I made my living doing what you're doing, and a few people mentioned the word karaoke. It didn't really bother me.... I made more money doing something that I love than they ever would singing karaoke.

My Dear Saharra 22469. I agree, it is a beautiful song, and the singer here is far better than adequate. I guess I'm just not a fan of what is, essentially, karaoke. If your not into the "build" and "orchestration" of the original---the two things that make this song better than all of the other four chord love songs that have preceeded and postdated it----that's up to you. It must be lovely to live in your simple world!

Thanks! Actually, it's not Karaoke...I've recorded these tracks myself in my home studio ( a.k.a. my bedroom ), using my guitar, midi keyboard, etc. But I really can't convince anyone it's not Karaoke. I don't care either, it's what it is, I have fun, that's all that counts.

Big Marty, Sahara.... Thank you for your input. I guess you can call it whatever you want Karaoke if you wish. I prefer to call it a backing track because all the tracks were recorded by me in my studio.
I appreciate your arguments good or bad. I guess we're just going to have to leave it up to personal preference. Either you like it or you don't. I don't need for everybody to like me. I'm not doing this for worldwide recognition, I'm doing it for fun.
