WARNING! If you are using this for a hair wrap be very wary- you might need to snip off the hair you wrapped! Don't want to tie anything in your hair?

USE THIS METHOD:

You can use a piece of braided yarn that is similar to the color of your hair color or use a section cut from a hair piece as the base for the hair wrap.

Rubber band the tip of the section of fake hair then make the braid as usual unless your hair piece came with the longer braids (like those fake ponytail decorations for buns) then do the string wrapping on it like in this video.

Finish the piece off by hot gluing your newly wrapped hair piece to a hair clip and viola, the look of a real hair wrap without the fuss of a real hair wrap!

These wrap bracelets are identical to the method used in hair wrapping- but be wary when wrapping hair because you just might have to cut your hair off to get the wrap off!

When doing the rope wrap you need to remember one basic rule- if you're twisting the extra strings to the right you need to wrap heading left, if you twist the extra strings to the left you need to wrap it right. If you can remember that small detail you should have no problems!

PROTIP: When wrapping strings to seal the twisted rope into the bracelet start above the knot in the base color- this will hide the gap made by the knot!

One last piece of advice would be to securely hold on to the middle string while making these bracelets and make sure you wrap the strings tightly.

  • @122Yasmin I'm sure that was sarcasm. Can't help it if I'm always mellow.

  • Can't u just do a Chinese staircase and get the same thing?

  • @livgrl321 No. The chinese staircase spirals but the spiral will be the same color as the wrap.

  • @FallenAngelKaren Crimp ends can be found in art stores or Walmart here in the USA but you may have to order it online... I'm not sure what stores are in Poland so I couldn't really tell you where you would be able to find them other than maybe searching Ebay or Amazon. Good luck.
