I wonder do the criminals usually wait a year or go through background checks to get a gun? In Louisiana where I used to live if you saw someone breaking into your house or car you could shoot on sight. In Texas about 2 years ago a guy with a shotgun shot 3 mexicans, who had broken into his neighbor's house. He killed 2 of them, shot them in the back as they were fleeing and wasn't charged. I bet nobody in that neighborhood got robbed for a LONG time.

The funny defense laws in the united states concerns college campuses.
on a campus you can not be armed with any weapon. a nice place for criminals to commit crimes in the U.S.

In the some of the states including my state in the U.S. you can kill someone that attacks or threatens murder in your own home without being sentenced jail time or even a fine.
they are called castle laws.
Idk how it is on the street.
oh and the law here is only within the house, not just on the property.

It's the same thing here: British common law. You can't defend yourself. All you can do is scream: "Get out!" then leave YOUR premises and call the police, that's it.

Get a gun somehow. The facsist regime of Dick Obammy is trying very hard to keep Americans from owning guns. The Kenyan boy kings justice department (there's an oxymoron) allowed hundreds and hundreds of guns to be smuggled and sold to Mexican gangsters and then complained that the U.S. was the biggest smugglers of guns into Mexico. This was done just to make people who believe in the right to own guns and defend themselves look worse than the thugs that bought the guns.
