FlexTorque (wearable haptic display that generates Flexor and extensor Torque) suggests new possibilities for highly realistic, very natural physical interaction in virtual environments. The idea behind FlexTorque is to reproduce human muscle structures that allow us to perform dexterous manipulations and interactions. We presented three games with realistic force feedback at SIGGGRAPH ASIA 2009. Gun simulator game imitates the recoil of a weapon. Quick single jerk of the forearm simulates the recoil force of a gun. In the Teapot Fishing Game once the user feels the tug at the forearm he gives fishing rod a quick jerk backward and up. Virtual Gym Game aims at doing the strength training exercise at home in a playful manner. We believe that FlexTorque haptic display bring the sense of touch into Game Industry, Virtual, and Augmented Realities.
