VISION
Help preserve and promote the playing and appreciation of the native Philippines Rondalla instruments.

OBJECTIVE
Promote awareness of this unique aspect of Philippines heritage, to generate support from well-meaning patrons and sponsors, and to increase the number of rondalla aficionados, especially those who could not otherwise afford to acquire the instruments. It is hoped that this will ensure a permanent interest in this national treasure and could help keep alive and well the rondalla instrument making craft and industry.

MECHANICS
From a subset of solicited funds or instruments, a marginalized barangay/village is selected as the target beneficiary. Once resources and responsible contact persons have been identified, eight (8) rondalla instruments(4 bandurrias, 1 laud, 1 octavina and 2 guitars) are loaned for the freestyle training of its underprivileged children. Upon successful compliance with the minimum requirements, the beneficiary village eventually becomes the owner of the rondalla instruments, thereby providing for successive groups of children to enjoy and master the skills of rondalla music.

Since the program's inception, the number of nominated marginalized villages has increased. The program now has eight (8) village beneficiaries that include an orphanage in Davao and a GK Encanto -Canada Village in Angat, Bulacan and a Philippines National School for the Blind serving hundreds of underprivileged children. To date, 4 additional villages have been nominated and are awaiting funding and delivery of their rondalla instruments.

INVITATION
Become an agent of change by investing in the future of the underprivileged children. Together, let us work to build a healthier and stronger communities by helping level the playing field for our less fortunate children through the iconic rondalla tradition.
Anyone donating to the Pagyamanin Likas Musika (PLM)/Rondalla Instruments Lending program receives a fully deductible tax receipt from Children's Health-Education Fund (CHEF) Foundation, a 501c(3) organization.
