It was a long time coming but this video is certainly the cream of the crop when it comes to my English language learning videos. Now that it's finished, I look like the cat that got the cream. I'm overflowing with the milk of human kindness so I'm sharing it with you in the hope that you will enjoy learning these 21 English dairy idioms.   • I've heard that there is a new current in teaching languages using phrases instead of memorizing isolated words. I think that makes sense and makes the work amusing!

    I just would like to know if the idioms in thie video are also useful for American English.

  • @rutsableich Acromel is absolutely right on both counts. Look at this chunk of language: right on both counts. Learn the four words in isolation and you can't do much with them. Learn the language chunk and it will come naturally to you when you want to use it. English, and I suspect most languages, is made up of these discrete chunks of language. We don't so much string words together as string chunks of language together. Thanks to you both for your interest in this video.
