The military doesn't use slugs a lot because they deform easily, and the Hague convention doesn't allow expanding ammo.

@SimonC979 Yea your right about how ACE included Buckshot the reason they dident add buckshot before was because they dident expect any one to use that thing other then door breaching

@Tucman07 If you have one in your gear, you should be able to place it through the self-action menu (by default I think it's the application button between the right windows key and the right ctrl-key) and set it up from there.

Does it work as a trigger as well? (if someone walks in front of it)

Yes, if you set up the tripwire. So long as you place it well and make sure the tripwire covers a likely route, then it will work.

I am left wondering though, if the claymore can produce so many projectiles, why are shotguns left only producting one bullet?
I thought it was an Arma 2 limitation, but apparently not!

Yes, ACE does feature Buckshot rounds. I always thought the reason we got slug rounds by default is because that's what the military used mainly? I could be wrong.
