The best always sample from the Best who are the point of SOURCE. If "Rock", R&B, Jazz,Blues,Pop,Do Wop,Bee Bop,HipHop,Rag-Time all had no HISTORY, I could understand why we would give European perception of our perception of OUR SCIENCES, position as puppeteer. But, through HISTORY we can see that they copy us in everyway and then NATURALLY DISTORT what was STOLEN. JUN SEBA paid an HONOR to this song by maintaining the FOUNDATION, that inspired the absolute BANGAH' that he was able to produce.

@Tayoballs i know how you feel. it's so interesting how there are so many songs and artist, that are barely known by this current generation, that have such great melodies and stuff :)

what nujabe's track is this sampled in?

The memories of listening to Kola 99.9 in Bigbear with my grandparents.

@MugenTensaiKanosei I may possibly do so - when I tire of James Carr, Paul Kelly and Linda Jones...

@drwhatson Please just give Nujabes- sensei's music a listen

@GoldenPubes - Except that one version is credited to Nujabes, and the Quadraphonics are treated as little more than an anonymous backing track - that's the whole point! Now, since you know so much, kindly detail exactly WHAT monies/kudos the Quadraphonics got from this musical travesty? (As for the frequent references to my "age" on here, that speaks volumes for your collective youthful ignorance, IMO... I dare say the artists your pathetic heroes "sample" are a great deal older than me!)

@drwhatson Dr Whatson must be a bitter old man to be angrily posting like this on YouTube. Did you just learn how to use the internets, sir? I guess all the guys on Blue Note were lying when they gave their endorsement to Madlib to sample a bunch of their music. You know, it is possible to enjoy the classic originals and the more recent sampled versions. You don't have to be such a close-minded child - both versions of this quadraphonics song are great
RIP NUJABES

Honestly, if it wasn't for Nujabes, I would not have had the honor of hearing the amazing artists he has sampled from. Giving me the inspiration to make an effort to find the artist that were sampled and further find more music from them. Luiz Bonfa, Joachim Kuhn, George Benson, Pat Methany, Pharoah Sanders and many more. Artist I've come to truly love and appreciate all thanks to Nujabes.
