3 Years of Blender

A compilation of some of the works I've done in the past 3 years, starting from the early works I used to be proud of. The beginning of my career! =)




Music is from the soundtrack of "28 Weeks Later".

There are many more works too, but I couldn't include them all in this. Mostly they are from the more recent years, but I left them out because my idea was to show the learning curve, including the early ones.

All done in Blender (blender.org) except some of the textures.
Oh and the blended.arkku.net is my website, but it is not yet finished. No plans on when to finish it.

I have a question, when you start off about to make a model, like, say you want to make a face, how do you start off? Do you spawn a sphere and mold through that?

Well, sphere is not a good shape to start with - at least in Blender. In Zbrush and such it is fine, but in Blender you should try starting off with a cube, or tracing all the edges for the face only. For example, check google, "face modelling blender" for better instructions.

very very beautiful , I am 38 years old and man , I gotta say well done :) I love the first scene , that snow and pines... It took me like two months to get that . also my first scene :) . It was hard  but I also did stick with it . Well I wish you best luck and keep blending .

Um.... Just one thing. Are you even human?!?!?! that was AWESOME!! I've been using Blender for about a year and I couldn't even model it that well (Started at the same age as you did). Keep it UP!!!!!
