  • Obama reminds me of Richard Pryor - he's the best Republican president ever!

  • MICHELLE BACHMAN FOR PRESIDENT, YEAH RIGHT!

  • Don't you like how Alan just rips Michelle apart with the facts. Michelle is such a puppet, this dumb bitch needs to be removed from office. Her best interest is for the corportations, not for the people. REMOVE MICHELLE BACHMAN

  • THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT, AND THANK YOU ALAN

  • @lmelvina58 Hence why it won't happen again..

  • @SuperGuitarman69 Lots of people bought Thalidimide. Lawsuits came after the fact. The birth defects were grotesque and all the litigation the world would not have prevented them.

  • @Meade556 Do you have a clue how much waste is in the EPA? It is HUGE> I'm with Milton Friedman.

  • @SuperGuitarman69 People buy unsafe products all the time, and not because they are idiots, but because they think "This is America not some 3rd world country, its safe" until Mercury loaded fish catches up to them and the EPA came in with regulations to ensure that what PGE had done was made illegal, furthering giving companies incentive to perform better and right now they are lobbying to make suing them impossible, caveat emptor but not "let the seller beware" also

  • @Meade556 Save who from whom??? Do you think the public will buy an unsafe product? Name one who would? The fear of lawsuits keep companies in line. NOT EPA or FDA regulations. PGE got the pants sued off of them. No legislation, just the public taking action with a class action lawsuit. PGE fixed the problem and that was it. Then the EPA came in after and issued rules. WTF?? WE the people already handled it. The EPA nor the FDA needs to exist. PERIOD.

  • @SuperGuitarman69 Oh spare me. When we had higher taxation in the 60s and 90s we did just fine. Also business has no incentive to self-regulate as there are no punishments and it is cheaper not be stringent and make cars safer, or make sure food is not poisonous. Last time I checked you supposed, dynamic, imaginative geniuses required a bailout because of bank friendly regulation and bad business practices, so no Government needs to save you idiots from yourselves.
