*SPOILER ALERT* I was reading about the sound novels (I'm gonna play them soon) and in Higurashi... Matsuri, I think? They had an extra arc where, instead of Hanyuu stopping the bullet, she gets killed instead, but everyone else survives. It ends with kind of an epilogue as to what happens to the characters. Satoshi wakes up at the end of that arc, which means he'll probably wake up in Matsuribyashi-hen too ^.^
