@nashnwo1234 I completely agree with you! Shannon was 90% of Blind Melon. You see where they got with that Travis dude in the driver seat. Blind Melon died when Shannon did.

shannon brought something new to music. the rest of the band are awesome musicians and song writers. but shannon brought a level of art to the band that no one else would have. and THAT is why you guys even know who blind melon is today...cause of shannons contribution.

Like every frontman... Still you're right on the fact that he had a lot of energy, originality and charisma which I think is the main problem with new singers. But man how dare you say that ''The rest are dime a dozen'' wtf they are incredibly talented each song has it's own special riff and mood. You'll never see that much diversity from bands like Metallica or ACDC (by the way I hate both)
anyways we certainly agree on the fact that we all miss Shannon and the real BM.
