@paleyellowrainbow2 nnnno i think they were just getting way too fast for the level of safety they had back then. it was basicly disestablished after a death that had a straight link to the excessive speed of the car. even the driver that died said before the crash that if something happened he'd be as good as dead.

indeed, they should had worked in safety as in F1 instead of banning them...and rallies are too short now too, too many times the same short stages....

yeah.. banning group B was far the biggest mistake in the history of the rally.
