Our Puppy Mill Rescue babies are showing progress finally. They now know the joy of play! Notice Toffee jumping up on fence for pets and Breeze getting jealous.bumping me with her nose. They are becoming "real" dogs ! watching this makes me feel sorry for my own dogs...didn't realize i was pushing them away so much...guess i better watch that in future...exactly what i didn't want to happen.

  • Bless you for adopting dogs that need lots of love, patience, training, etc. We also only adopt from shelters or rescue groups! Please don't buy from pet stores unless you like supporting the cruelty of puppy mills! And, they all come from puppy mills no matter how much they say they don't... Adopt, you'll get a pet who's loyal and grateful forever...

  • Thanks aprilh, I have not adopted these dogs but am working to rehab them for others to adopt. I started with 7 last april from the same puppymill and presently have only 3 of the original ones left with me. (the others were adopted) and one of these 3 is scheduled for his new forever home soon. Everything you wrote is absolutely correct. Good for you for adopting your pets. Rewarding, isn't it! blesses to you

  • thank god for people like you taking these dogs in your doing a great job job keep it up!........what comes around goes around........

  • fiasjrcn, thank you...it's already "come around" for us..these sweet dogs truly enrish our dull ole lives. It's also very nice to learn there are so many folks like you who care. thanks for commenting

  • Carolyn: Thank you for rescuing these babies. And, an extra thank you for the patience of you and your husband to allow the dogs their space to find comfort in your home and the space to begin to trust you. The tedious undertaking of training a mill rescue -- not one but two -- at the same time is a labor of love without a doubt. Wow... my deepest appreciation to you both. -- Midwest, StL Mo --

  • thanks bigfanx..well, actually it's not been two but seven and one (Breeze) had a litter of puppies shortly after arriving ..so for a while 6 puppies too (all adopted easily)..but poor Breeze.. all the stress of everything plus being a mommy too! thanks again for your kind words...it is enriching our lives.

  • Great Video!

  • thanks for your work. LoLLy is a rescue and we appreciate humans like you very much.

  • Thank you. Happy to say that Toffee has come a great way since this clip and is now adopted and in a forever loving home. Isn't that great?!! Now must get busy with the rest in my care. thank you for caring

  • Poor sweet Toffee still seems so mistrusting. It took our chihuahua mix many months to allow us to put our arms around him or faces close to kiss him without growling. It took over a year before he was confident enough to sleep in bed with us. We have a deep and sincere respect for rescuers and fosters. You have made such awesome progress with Breeze!
