How come the cars still sound like vacuum cleaners instead of real cars? Every game makes the cars sound weak as hell!

Well i guess a lot of it has to do with the exhaust system.. i find most of the engine sounds are quite accurate if you listen closly. But i think its the exhaust on the cars that make them sound that way.

Yeah you can get the first version of it though, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift. Its only 15 bucks. If your going to get one of them order in Kaido Battle 2: Touge no Denetsu, its the third one in the series and has almost every mountain pass in Japan.

You may have a hard time finding it so i recommend buying from Best Buy or EBay, Wal-Mart is suppose to have it for 15 dollars, i got mine from EB Games (Gamestop USA). But is worth your 15 dollars.

Best Buy is 10 dollars i heard.

@SpikeRazzor Chain Reaction has better/more fun physics, more Japanese cars, but less European cars.

No point in going out of your way to aquire this game, Touge no Densetsu pretty much has everything Chain Reaction has to offer but with additional features.
