Pretty much a crappy day with lots of overcast, rain and chest-to-head high surf throughout the day. Several tornados touched down in Lake, Volusia, and Sumpter Counties killing more than 20 people in Lake County alone.
However, lots of talent turned out for the surf at their favorite spot for the filming of the Groundhog's Day surf video clip.
Surfers include Skip Miller, Pete Lopez, Micah Weaver, Kyle Applefield, Steve Kepler, Kenny, Aaron Corn, Andrew Freedman, Pete Salerno, Grant Johnson, Dustin Howard, Greg Boyer, Brandon Fraley, Brian, and Jason Hatch. Tornados were not in Orlando, they were in Lake and Volusia counties. I know, one hit my house.
