STORY:
Paul and Jennifer, documentary filmmakers, come to Rockport, Maine to shoot a movie about a cryptid convention where enthusiasts trade stories of encounters. Their project turns nightmarish when a real cryptid infects a local fisherman and sends him spiraling into a rabies-like rampage. Disturbing questions surface. Will the ocean unburden itself of more secrets? Will human life survive when killing becomes contagious?
