Michelle Cottle: Sarah Palin Was "A Disaster"

One week after resigning as Governor of Alaska, The New Republic's Michelle Cottle criticizes Sarah Palin's decision to do so: "Bashing the media is the last great refuge of any desperate politician," Cottle says. "She can talk about how this was for the sakle of Alaska all she wants tom but the sense is that she kind of was a disaster... for the entire time she was in the spotlight...

As for Palin's future, Cottle suggests: "What's she going to move on to at this point?"
