  • Man, I didn't realize how hard Fred's life was. Like others have said, props to him for overcoming the obstacles in his life, and for having the courage to step into the cage and fight. And the funny thing is, these people who mocked him would be easily beat down by Fred Ettish.

  • thumbs up for Fred Ettish !

  • I remember watching UFC2 and cringing the moment he stepped in the cage. Looking back, what he did took A LOT of courage. It was a different sport back then, if you can even call it that.

  • Wow. Ballsy

  • RESPECT!

  • This was a touching piece, very nice that Fred has been strong enough to come full circle and nice that he has this platform now. Doc looks excellent.

The UFC2 fight just looked like a prime example of a TMA guy who hadn't actualy sparred full contact enough. His technique started out really clean but fell apart once he got hit (in the face), and he was fighting a very experienced kickboxer who was actualy beating K1 fighter Pat Smith standing before getting choked in the next round.

  • Very inspiring!

  • Wow. Didn't know his life was that rough.

Props to him for actually fighting again.

  • @WeezerFan03 way to go weezer fan ya dick!

  • Damn. I've made fun of Fred Ettish on forums in the past. This really makes me realize what a dick I was.

    Respect.
