In an event that is likely to raise the political stakes, Prime Minister Raila Odinga made a highly symbolic tour of Central province. The PM and his entourage made a grand entry into greater Murang'a where an enthusiastic crowds welcomed them. NTV's Jane Kiiyo was with the entourage and as she now reports, there was more to just touring development projects.

  • @freegastanker you have gone back to your tribal cocoon again.....as the kenyan usual

  • @wawaithira Raila is not daring, he knows Kikuyus are not violent, we a peaceful people. Do you think Uhuru can go and campaign freely in Luo Nyanza without a stone being thrown? We Kikuyus don't have a history of throwing stones. Even Moi still went to Muranga and got a rapturous welcome from the people despite his misdeeds.

  • Kikuyu open your eyes!.Raila he is NOT CIRCUMCISED.

  • Really? When did this peace initiative begin? Wow and those Tanzanians known as Mungiki, what are thy doing in central? Mhhmm? Peaceful my ass.

  • Is that so? And you think dictators don't govern and maintain services? Does that make them any better? Gaddaffi is governing and maintaining services, yet his people are still suffering.

  • Uh, you already did genius!!

  • The only stoning I know of was when Kenyatta was stoned in response to his well-known murder of Tom Mboya. It seems betrayal is a character for some people. After that, the worst the people did was stone him, and how did he respond? By massacreing them on the spot! And now we want to build a memorial and they wont let us. But they want to build one for PEV victims in RV. What kind of country is this you want?If Somalia, just move there, don't start one here. Uhuru will be welcomed btw.

  • Ati Raila gave kikuyu's leadership & life? kwani yeye ni Mungu?

Raila & Kibaki are both electoral thieves, period! Raila would be the president today had his team "out-thieved" kibaki's .

  • @karuitha...unafaa kupasuliwa mayai kwa rasa!!!

  • you thinkb like a dead chicken, u idiot

  • Wasee wa mtaa tugutuke. Hawa mafala wawache kutugawanyisha kwa ukabila. Wengine wetu tumegrow tukijuana kama wakenya, hawa ma jogoo wa shags wasituletee. warudishe ukabila mahali walilelewa. shame on them all.

  • Raila had to compromise by force n join kibaki's camp for the presidency coz he had no way out but rally his forces to eject moi. I like raila at times but count he better not count his chicks before their hatched. ... kikuyus like raila's determination but will never vote for him....hio am so certain...ni ngumu sana
