@CinnamonBunz55 you must learn to make your opponent think when that happens you have already done your job because you are one step ahead of the play snap, what you have to be sure of is to have a weapon that is simply hard to contain if you dont have anything be sure you can at least take up space and hold a block its the most important aspect of football without that containment nothing will happen or youll get beat or controlled every play dont wait just react takes hours of practice 365year

@dru713281 hahaha i play college football and i wish football was that simple
-
@tiatrips should be touchdowns so that they will be achieved and appreciated by every member,i remember da bears who with the best LB to ever lace up his boots and knock offensive players souls out of there bodies and completely take away all heart brought forth on that field and every player on the opposite team was tested to their physical abilities not bound by extremely tacky rules that prove to no avail and are reversed ying yang style all the while no money for all the nfl injured retired
-
@tiatrips you see your not like me because you have adjusted to todays rules where i want to make my own and try them against the best.all those checkdown routes will not work against my ultimate hip cover jam n press,no quick slants until after the contact where once the reciever has his hands and feet ready n prepared to catch 4 seconds have passed and you know with my 3 second d line smash fb rb and qb have d players in there sights to deal with, miracle touchdowns against miracle defense rare
-
@dru713281 We have to deal with today's NFL, but it has become an offensive showcase more than anything. The defensive line is where it starts, yes, but even if they get into the backfield, there's always checkdown routes, quick slants, things like that, that can't be easily covered. Does it help? Of course. But the big push from the defensive line doesn't mean anything if the rest of the defense can't stop plays. Just goes back to needing great players to make it effective though.
-
@tiatrips in my opinion football is simple if your d line can break the line and get deep in the backfield in under 3 to 7 seconds but in doing so be smart enough to understand the teams best players as well as making sure every d player is covering a man so that no matter the situation each player is in position to make a hard direct impact hit we would have a rugby match with pure field goals as scores, but todays nfl has made it heaven for offensive players which is ok since we dont have a say

@dru713281 I know it's a big game like that, factoring down and distance, score, and time remaining. The 46, actually, any defensive front, is effective as long as it's disguised the right way. Cover 2 can be double man coverage, a prevent package can easily be turned into a 46 look, etc. The 49ers would dominate this front often as well in the 80's against the Bears, and to a further extent, the Eagles, under Buddy Ryan. Either side of the ball needs great guys to make it work for them though.
-
@tiatrips every style is like rock paper scissors, one always dominates the other only to be dominated itself once the method is changed, everyone know this in fact the eagles ran this to perfection with mcnabb to westbrook one of the best runningback with amazing route ability, would torch this exact front on many occasion but usaully it would be a block down screen pass to the rb or fb or te if needed, this is why when t owens played for them westbrook would do his job make his block for to pass
@kwchenault1 The 2nd best linebacker this decade vs Edge rusher in a 3-4? Hmmm let me think.....YOU CANT EVEN MAKE THE COMPARISON
