i agree with wand.. we should respect all scholars. I disagree with Mr. Javed Ghamdi on some things but same time i respect him and appreciate his efforts.
Its very sad that w see things now in black and white mode.. he is scholar or he is promting false islam. Truth is that I found Mr. Ghamdi way of preaching very sound , convinienving .. whereas other shcolar with all respect they create illusions nothing more... at least young people able to ask Mr.ghamdi any type question, God bless him

First of all learn to be respectful even if y ou do not agree with something. Second, you are not a scholar either. So wether he or anyone else is authentic or not, i think we should leave this and anyother judgement to Allah who is going to judge everyone on the day of judgement.

Ghamdi is not an islamic scholar he is a laymen, because he rejects:
1. Any form of Had (Prescribed Punishment),
2. Hadith to be direct
3. Nazool Eesa Alayhi Salam and his Life (like Qadiyanis)
4. Had for an Apostate (Murtad)
5. Claims the 7 recitations of quran to be wrong
6. He says Music and Dancing of all sorts is permissible
7. Jihad against oppression is the only jihad allowed
8. The Shahadat of a man and woman are equal
9. He says that there is no concept of Veil in Islam.
