@samaritan00 Technically isnt the first muscle car, that goes to the 62 Dodge Polara and Fury, Dart with the 413 and later 426 max wedges and the aluminum noses. No what made the GTO appear to be the first was the massive and awesome commercialization of it. But even then it wasnt even fast for its time.
