Watch BuffMother! do her favorite variation of smith lunges. By bringing in her front foot and leaning her chest towards her knee, glutes are stimulated much more. BE PREPARED for a sore BUTT the day after these, lol!
lunges are a compound exercise of course she is working her thighs....i prefer dumbbell lunges as opposed to smigh machine, but its good to change it up.........
keep head up abit straighten your back and wear a workout belt even if the weight is light

Not much. Lunges are mostly a glute excercise, but you can place some emphasis on quads by a shorter stride.
