Watch BuffMother! do her favorite variation of smith lunges. By bringing in her front foot and leaning her chest towards her knee, glutes are stimulated much more. BE PREPARED for a sore BUTT the day after these, lol!

  • keep head up abit straighten your back and wear a workout belt even if the weight is light

  • Shouldn't you keep your head up and straight? Looks like your back arches when you look down.

  • i think you should keep your back upright - proper posture & more pressure on your thighs

  • lunges are a compound exercise of course she is working her thighs....i prefer dumbbell lunges as opposed to smigh machine, but its good to change it up.........

  • Not much. Lunges are mostly a glute excercise, but you can place some emphasis on quads by a shorter stride.
