Oh sorry I was distracted by the guy who tries to solve that cube..

Hi guy! You are a really good bassist, great cover!
I want to ask you how can I improve the technique you use at the beginning of this video (the little solo)! What song do you recommend to learn? Or, are there any specific exercises i can do?
Thank you! XD

@RadioMasterDude you saved my life haha... by the way awesome cover and nice bass ;) active or pasive ?
-
@chhau123 Well, I used to take classes in 2 different schools, but stopped taking them over a year ago. Don't have a teacher anymore... :/
-
do you have a teacher(for bass)..?

i didn't notice the guy with rubiks cube until he left lol

@s011330 I think it was both pickups in passive, with the lows on the bass slightly reduced. I forgot the eq'ing on the amp.
-
Awesome cover and tone!
What are the settings(pickups, active/passive, tone etc.) used on the bass?

how do you use audacity for recording the sound ? do audacity record bass signal and music ?
27chomp 4 months ago
@27chomp My amp (Marshall MB30) has a CD In & a Line Out, I connect my iPod or my PC (with a 3.5mm cable) into the CD In, and the Line Out to the mic jack of my PC. Everything that you can hear through the speakers of the amp (or headphones) is sent out through the Line Out and is recorded through Audacity. It's just one signal, with the music and recorded bass together.
Thanks for commenting!

@RadioMasterDude sorry i fortgot how do you record with the camera and at the same time with audacity ?

@27chomp I put them together with Windows Live Movie Maker, I kind of try my best to keep them in sync although it does get a little off, sometimes...
